In 2017 I was invited to turn Flex Gallery into a summer exhibition at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts (UICA) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. For the exhibition, I displayed each of the eleven artist-made armbands alongside typical work by that artist. The work was accompanied by a list of locations where the armbands had been worn as well as a short film of the armbands in motion.
